Andrea Pinchi's work does not just consist of colors and objects artfully arranged on various pieces of canvas or wood. He uses "secrets" that have been hidden for hundreds of years that have finally come to light. Leather, Felt, wood, metal and cork, dating as far back as the 17th century, respectively relieved from their dutiful function through the restoration of various pipe organs through out the world where they served a small, mostly unseen, but important mechanical role in the art of music. Andrea Pinchi has resurrected these materials, giving them a visual purpose in his art, a new life and meaning, placing them where they can be seen and admired. The years have not gone by unnoticed by these treasures, they have turned the glued leather to "gold", the felt to "silver" and the metal to "armor" - a magical metamorphosis.

Andrea Pinchi's reverence for these materials is apparent in his subtle arrangements of them into bold powerful expressions, the balance of color, the choice of objects and the use of materials. His talent, sense of design, and a wonderful touch of humor is his trademark and claim to fame.
